A glass balcony that will not close, a PVC door whose latch no longer catches, or a shutter that will not go up rarely means the whole system must be replaced. Most of these faults are solved on site, in a single visit, at a fraction of the cost of a new system. At Pamay Yapı we carry out repair, adjustment and maintenance work on glass balconies, PVC windows, shutters and insect screens across Bodrum and Milas.
On glass balconies the most frequent job is roller replacement. If the panels are hard to slide, catch on the track, or the balcony will not close at all, the cause is usually worn rollers or a track that has fallen out of alignment. We also renew gaskets (seals), adjust locks and mechanisms, and replace strikers and stoppers. Because sea air affects the profiles, regular maintenance noticeably extends system life in coastal areas.
On PVC windows and doors the most common complaint is a door that no longer closes properly or a lock that will not hold. If sliding doors are hard to close, a tilt-and-turn window has lost its adjustment, or a balcony door lock has failed, the problem is fixed on site by adjusting the hinges, replacing the handle and lock striker, and renewing the gasket. Sagging sashes, whistling in the wind and rubbing while closing belong to the same family of adjustments.
For shutters we replace motors, renew belts and pulleys, change slats and pair remote controls; for insect screens we replace torn mesh, renew tracks and brushes, and adjust pleated and sliding systems. Small-looking jobs such as insect-screen mesh replacement are usually completed within the same visit.
Our approach is simple: we listen to the fault on the phone and, where needed, carry out a free site survey. We tell you the part and the labour cost in advance and never start without your approval. When the job is finished we clear up after ourselves and provide our post-installation warranty. We serve every neighbourhood of Bodrum and Milas — just get in touch and describe the fault.
